Account Manager required for a global pharmaceutical company.
Profile: Account Manager
Location: Regional role covering the following regions Surrey and Sussex
Salary: 45000 per annum plus car plus commission plus excellent benefits
Work experience required: Proven history of sales and account management performance in a Medical, pharmaceutical, dietics. Key customer contacts will include Senior NHS procurement managers and budget holders and you will need to lean on previous experience of the competitive tender process and contract and tender management.
Education: Degree educated or equivalent desirable
The Account Manager will be responsible for delivering sales and profitability target across defined health economies and to deliver profitable growth through preferred partnership status with key customers/stakeholders whilst driving and managing regional/national procurement, strategic customers groups and projects as appropriate.
The Account Manager will demonstrate a track record of successful delivery of sales strategies, contract and tender management experience, negotiation & key account management skills and evidence of previous coaching and training experience. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders such as BI to develop meaningful metrics for use in contract renewal as well as new business negotiation.
