Our client, a leading national quality focused care provider is now seeking an experienced, caring Domiciliary Care Manager for an established business in the Leicester area. Ideally you would have already achieved an RMA/NVQ 4 or 5 or equivalent, have excellent business development skills and experience and strive to ensure a high quality service is given to clients and to staff. The branch is based in Leicester and now needs further development and growth. You will need excellent recruitment experience and be able to develop each member of staff to their full potential by providing excellent support, career opportunities and qualifications. You will need to be a car owner/driver and good local knowledge would be useful. You will need to show you have excellent communications skills, confidence, professionalism and motivational skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership and support and be able to prioritise in an ever changing challenging environment. A full understanding of the CQC regs and Care Standards is necessary. You will need to have good experience with building strong relationships with Local Authorities, Care Managers, GP services and associated agencies as this is all part of developing business and long lasting relationships. With this continued growth, they now have opportunities available for a Deputy Manager and a Team Leader
Deputy Manager £9.68 p/hr – £12.00 p/hr
Within this role you will assist the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives set out in the Statement of Purpose. Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager, you will ensure that each Young Person has an allocated key worker, making certain staff are aware of each child’s placement plan and their responsibilities for its implementation. You will manage your staff and ensure systems are developed to ensure the effective allocation of resources.
Candidates for this role will be educated to GSCE standard and will hold an NVQ 3 in caring for Children & Young People and ideally working towards NVQ 4. Experience within a supervisory role and working within a residential setting with Young People with challenging behaviours is essential. Counselling Skills, Drugs Awareness Training and experience of acting as an appropriate adult (PACE) would be desirable, however is not essential.
Team Leader £7.50 p/hr - £10.40 p/hr + Sleep Allowance
Within this role you will assist the Deputy Manager in achieving the aims and objectives set out in the Statement of Purpose.
