They now have an opportunity for a Regional Fostering Manager to join them to cover the North West to have responsibility for a team of four to six Social Workers, Two to Three Family Support Workers and Administrative Support ensuring that their work remains child and outcome focussed at all times. This is a registered role with Ofsted and you must ensure that all work undertaken by the team complies with the 2011 National Minimum Standards, Statutory Guidance and Regulations for Fostering Services.
Reporting directly to the Director of their Foster Care vision, you will have the opportunity to ensure operational excellence through direct supervision of your team, along with an input into the on-going strategic development of their Service. Working closely with the Quality Assurance and Service Development Manager, you will develop action plans, self-audits and other preps for Ofsted Inspections, developing robust action plans arising from any inspections.
Candidates for this role will hold DipSW, CQSW or equivalent and hold a Social Worker Management Qualification (GSCC). You will have proven experience relevant to fostering and at least one year’s experience of supervising and managing professional staff. With an excellent working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and standards you will have the ability to drive the fostering service forward whilst working with a high degree of autonomy. This role requires a level of flexibility, including overnight stays and weekend working away from the region as and when required, therefore it is essential candidates can accommodate this. A full UK driving licence is required.

Physiotherapist - Manchester Band 6 - MSK Start ASAP Salary - 23 - 33k DOE Based in Manchester the company are currently recruiting for physiotherapist to provide biomechanics' treatment in their new treatment centre. The job purpose - The service provides a functional rehabilitation programme that is based on the companies gait system. Your duties will include - *To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for own professional activities *To be responsible and accountable for the management and implementation of client rehabilitation programmes *To provide a high standard of company assessment and treatment as an autonomous practitioner to clients including those with complex cases where advanced clinical reasoning skills, evidence based practice and expertise are essential to develop effective, individual care plans. *To demonstrate theoretical knowledge of multiple pathologies and impairments in the assessment of clients, often in the presence of incomplete or conflicting clinical information to form accurate analyses and diagnoses. *To monitor, review and continually re-assess clients rehabilitation plans and objectives against outcomes measured in order to facilitate modification of their rehabilitation as appropriate to enable achievement of their goals. To be considered for this position you must be have a bachelor degree in physiotherapy, be registered with hcpc, and have proven experience as an MSK physiotherapist, who has an interest in gait, biomechanics and functional rehabilitation. Overseas applicants must have a min of 1 years UK experience.
