They now have an exciting opportunity available for a Trustlink Officer to join them on a permanent, full-time time basis for 37 hours per week.
If one of their elderly or disabled customers needs help in an emergency at home, they need a safe pair of hands on the scene straight away to help them out. From gaining entry to the premises, to appraising the situation and even providing basic first aid if necessary, your actions will need to be swift, well-reasoned and decisive.
Even when you’re not on an emergency call-out, they’ll expect you to work proactively by monitoring their customers’ general safety and well-being, and ensuring that the level of service they receive is always matched to their specific needs. Already with solid experience of working with vulnerable customers in a front line role, you will be no stranger to the demands of a target-driven environment.
They are also looking for excellent interpersonal and IT skills, together with a proven ability to plan, organise and problem solve with minimum supervision. Candidates who have experience of working in partnership with external agencies such as the Emergency Services are desirable however this is not essential.
Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.

The Role
Our client has been commissioned by the NHS to deliver an innovative Weight Management Service across Tameside and Glossop. The Community Health Engagement Officer will be required to build strong and positive relationships with a wide range of differing stakeholder groups (e.g. NHS commissioners, GPs, practice managers, practice nurses, hospital consultants, patients, carers, voluntary sector etc.) to generate referrals into the service.

ROLE:
LEADER project officer is part of the Rural Development Programme for England [contact details removed] , aimed at promoting economic and community development within rural areas. The purpose of this role will be to ensure that the Southern Oxfordshire LEADER -funded projects are delivered in line with requirements, but also to develop a transitional bid for funding for 2014 to enable the Southern Oxfordshire Local Action Group (LAG) to develop a strong case and bid for a future LEADER project when funding becomes available in 2015.
This role will be critical in terms of delivering the remainder of the Southern Oxfordshire LEADER project, ensuring effective and accurate completion of the current funding, and leading the bid for future rural funding for Southern Oxfordshire.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Advise and support the work of the LAG, including guidance to the chairperson and the decision making group.
b) To monitor all awarded projects to ensure they are completed successfully and timely in line with each project contract, and providing guidance to project applicants on the claims systems.
c) To maintain accurate records of the programme, and the projects within it, in accordance with requirements of Defra and the Rural Payments Agency.
d) To lead on transitional funding bid.
e) To maintain awareness of future funding, developing bids where appropriate and engaging consultancy support where needed in liaison with the LAG.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Qualification relevant to rural development or finance, or level of experience or expertise.
b) Experience of financial administration, and of project and financial management.
c) Ability to produce financial and output data showing performance against budgets and targets.
d) Experience of using Excel to monitor complex financial information.
e) Self motivated, ability to manage complex workload, prioritise tasks, achieve targets and to respond flexibly to changing needs and demands.
f) Clear communication skills and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.
