DW/BI Lead - UK /EU - Global IT Services

My client is a fast growing, high energy global IT services company providing consulting, technology & outsourcing services (offshore business model). They provide cost effective services that enable their clients to use IT to enhance business performance, accelerate time to market, increase productivity & improve customer service.

Headquartered in the US, they have offices & technology centres throughout America, Asia & the UK

The UK arm of the business is looking to recruit an experienced DW/BI Lead to support the growth of their global DW/BI practice in the UK & the EU - providing pre-sales support & delivery assurance for all DW/BI projects in UK & the EU.

Role will be based in London/Home Counties.

The Role

* Provide DW/BI pre-sales support for the sales execs based in UK/EU to sell DW/BI projects in EU/UK
* Provide technical guidance & DW/BI practice support to the delivery teams based in UK & EU.
* Collaborate with the global DW/BI team and create solutions and offerings based to support UK & EU/
* Provide marketing & campaign support to generate new DW/BI logos in UK/EU
* Develop local relationships/partnership to support the growth of DW/BI practice in the UK & EU.


The Person

* Strong experience in DW/BI - knowledge of Star schema, snow-flake schema, Kimball methodology.
* Knowledge in at least one of the following in each category: Data Integration (DataStage, Abinitio, Informatica); BI (Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy)
* DW/BI experience in at least one of the following: Delivery, product development, production support. Services company experience preferred
* Ideally consulting experience/background gained with a leading service providers
* Ideally Offshore/global development experience
* Ideally domain experience in Financial services/ Health-care/ Media
