Bid Manager (Construction/Social Housing)
My client based in Essex (within the M25) is looking an accomplished and experienced Bid Manager to take responsibility for managing the process of compiling and producing the quality aspect of bids and PQQ documents as well as site visits and presentations. You will also coordinating day to day activity and ensuring bids are submitted on time with a high success rate.

Essential duties and responsibilities will include:
" Ensure timely delivery of complex bids and responses to tender in the form of RFP's
" Responsible for planning, management and completion of the bid and tender submission
" Planning, writing and coordinating responses to bids and tenders
" Maintain and continually update the bid library of company tender documentation and related information
" Win contracts with an expected value of contracts with an expected value of 500 K to 100 K
" Manage the whole bid process including identification to contract, win theme development, storyboarding and preparation of bid content
" Provide full management of information to senior Management regarding the progress, status and likely outcome of bids
" Actively improve the organisations bid management capabilities, processes and methodologies
" Liaising with various other business departments as required
" Coach and mentor junior staff as required
Essential skills and key attributes to fulfil the role:
" Proven experience in Bid Management looking after the full bid lifecycle
" Experience in social housing and construction industry would be highly desirable
" Up to date construction knowledge would be an advantage
" Proven written communication and high level of interpersonal skills
" APMP Accreditation Foundation or higher / Shipley training preferred
" Degree qualification would be highly desirable
" High level of IT skills including experience using MS Office and MS Visio
" Hold the ability to convey technical and commercial solutions
